Mrs. Stewart's Grade Two Adventure!

Reminders: Tomorrow we will be going on a community walk, please come dressed for the weather.  A coat, gloves and maybe a hat would be a good idea. Be safe and have fun if you are participating in Diwali or Halloween activities tonight!  Highlights of Grade Two Today: we went to music and we played a pass the witches broom stick game and we danced to the ghostbusters song we drew a diya lamp and used our special skinny markers to colour it, we got to make our own designs on it. we finished The Wild Robot!!!!  Ask me how it ended. we made a bar graph for the height of our pumpkins! Ask me what a bar graph is. we played a new math game to practice our addition facts up to 10. we had many students dressed up in beautiful Diwali clothing and Halloween costumes! Check out our pictures below.  we did the raffle for the pumpkins and Mrs. Stewart was SO proud of the class! Those who didn't win were very gracious and kind to those that did.  Congratulations to the winners.  

 Reminders: Thursday is Spirit Day you can d ress in: Traditional clothes for Diwali if your family celebrates Diwali / Orange & Black or costume if your family celebrated Halloween / Your regular, everyday clothes if you are most comfortable…the choice is yours. We are also made aware that some people may be celebrating Diwali on Friday, if you would like to wear your traditional clothes on this day, please do!!!! Wear your traditional clothing on whatever day you would like. We will be going for a community walk on Friday.
