Welcome! We are so excited to be starting the 2024-2025 year with  you! This year, our whole school will be using Blogger to make regular agenda posts.

To make it easier for you, you can add the blog right on to the home screen of your phone or iPad by following the directions on the “Adding Blogger to Home Screen” document. 

We hope this makes the communication between home and school easier and opens up great conversations between you and your child. 

The CBE and Mrs. Brinson will be communicating information to you through School Messenger email titled ‘Northern Lights News for ___”. This email will include a link to the Northern Lights School Website so messages can be translated into any language. 

To make sure you receive these email messages, please SUBSCRIBE using the email address you gave to the school.

Reminders: Coming up next week is our Terry Fox Run (on Thursday September 19th) Subway Fun Lunch is on Thursday September 19th. Highlights of Grade Two Today: we worked on our 'Good Egg' art today! Reminders: Tomorrow we are going on a community walk and we will be doing some sketching outside so please come dressed for the weather.  It may be a bit colder because we won't be running around, so dressing in layers is a good idea (shirt, sweater and coat).  We are going out around 11:30am. There is no school on Monday October 14th for Thanksgiving Day.  School will resume on Tuesday October 15th. IMPORTANT | Help Still Needed on October 19 or October 20   Next weekend on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20 are the dates we were given for our Casino Fundraiser. We still have five spots that are not filled.  If we cannot fill all volunteer slots, the Casino cancels our fundraiser and we are not permitted to apply for another 18 months…which would put us to another three years before another opportunity arises.  With this opportunity giving us over $70 000, it is critical that we fill the spots so we get the money!  If you, or your family / friends, are able to help, it wo
