Reminders:

** I forgot to send home the yellow home folders with a parent questionaire in it.  I will send them home tomorrow. I am sorry!! **

In Grade Two Today We:

• we made name tags for our supply bins! Ask me how I coloured mine!
• we started working on our time capsules, we are measuring our hands, feet, height and drawing a picture and writing words to put away until the end of the year!
• we talked about emergency procedures and practiced walking out to our post for a fire drill.  Ask me what our post number is....hint it comes after 5.
• we read a book written by Lebron James called I Promise, then we made our very own Grade 2 promise and we signed it!!  Ask me what we all promised for this year....hint: it is in the picture below.
• we went outside for recess
• we learned 'walk the wall' which taught us to walk following the wall all the way around to the front of the school in case we ever find ourselves outside our door and not able to get in.
• we played Rock Paper Scissor tag, ask me how to play this.
• we read We Don't Eat our Classmates!
