 Highlights of Grade Two Today: we went to music we did writing, we planned out a story and then wrote it! Ask me about what I wrote about we did word problem Wednesday! Mrs. Stewart sang our attendance. we practiced our subtraction strategies today! Ask me which ones I like to use best we finished our trading cards and then played the trading game, ask me if I was able to import all the items I needed and how we shipped them from the exporting country to me.

Highlights of Grade Two Today: we learned a new way to plan a story! Ask me to describe it to you! we had our Nutrition program today and it was awesome! We learned about the difference between processed and whole foods, how to listen to our bodies when deciding what and when to eat and how to make good choices about what to eat. We even learned how to dice fruit, make granola and tried different kinds of fruits! Ask me about this we played math master, counting backwards by 10's.  I should practice counting backwards at home we went to phys. ed we learned more about exports and imports and the transportation that carries imports and exports.

 Reminders: Tuesday, April 28th - Food Discovery Program Parents have already received emails and a letter regarding the program from the school. Students will be making yogurt and fruit parfaits. Please send a snack and lunch with your child on this day as they will only have a tasting, this will not be a full meal.  Highlights of Grade Two Today: we finished up our writing where we were creating our very own stories. Ask me what my story is about we had Microscope Mark here to teach us about different slippery, slimy, stretchy, soft, sloppy, squishy materials!!  I even got to make some slime to bring home!!! Ask me about this program we did math today and learned the stacking method for subtraction, we now know how to use a number line, hundreds chart, base ten blocks and stacking to subtract.  I can DEFINITELY use practice on these at home we went to gym and had the whole gym to ourselves and Mrs. Stewart was our gym teacher.
